Study on Electron Tunneling in Microtubules: A Model Explaining Both Mendelian Genetics and Quantum Computing Memory

The Boveri-Sutton theory explains the independent and random assortment of Mendelian genes predicted by the microtubule tunnelling model. The driving electro chemistry for chromosomes to move at the same speed is electron tunnelling from the centriole to the kinetochore. The use of microtubules as quantum computational molecules has been proposed. It’s also been suggested that they may be used as discrete on-off bit computation molecules. Both contexts of computing can be used to understand the microtubule model.
