The functional 1, 8-Naphthalimide derivatives that can attach to deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and have anticancer properties have gotten a lot of press recently. The synthesis of novel 1,8-Naphthalimides derivatives and their antibacterial properties are reported in this chapter.
