Study about Management of Neonatal Seizures: An Approach to Neuropharmacological Aspects
The current research focuses on the neuropharmacological effects of medications used to treat infant convulsions. Seizures can cause significant morbidity and even death in neonates. Quick detection, referral, inspection, therapy, and follow-up are all essential for improving prognosis. Different anti-epileptic medications, such as phenobarbitone and levetiracetam, offer advantages and disadvantages, especially in terms of neuropharmacology and infant seizure management. This study examines the therapeutic utility of a number of medications used to treat infant seizures. Management of neonatal seizures can be difficult, especially when there are congenital CNS defects and metabolic disorders in babies.
