Recent Progress on Optical Fiber Tweezers for Optical Trapping and Manipulation
Optical trapping is widely employed in a variety of fields, including biomedicine, physics, and materials research. Due to its flexible manipulation, compact construction, and ease of production, optical fibre tweezers have gotten a lot of attention in the field of optical trapping in recent years. Optical fibre tweezers are a flexible instrument for optical trapping and manipulation that may be used to trap, manipulate, arrange, and assemble small objects. We look at dual fibre tweezers for trapping and manipulation, single fibre tweezers for trapping and single cell analysis, optical fibre tweezers for cell assembly, structured optical fibre for enhanced trapping and manipulation, subwavelength optical fibre wire for evanescent fields-based trapping and delivery, and photothreading.
