Preservation of Cultural Values and Socio-Economic Development in the Sustainable Development of the Khmer People in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam

 

Cultural belief is a distinct feature that has a significant spiritual significance for the Khmer people of the Mekong Delta. Most Khmer in the Mekong Delta believe in Theravada Buddhists, and consider it to be one of their ways of life, as well as a stable spiritual support system for adjusting conduct and handling interpersonal and societal connections. Cultural beliefs have given the Khmer in the Mekong Delta a rich, distinct spiritual life, allowing them to contribute to the diversity of Vietnamese culture. This book emphasises the manifestations of cultural belief and the values of cultural belief in the spiritual lives of Khmer people in the Mekong Delta, and it contributes to the preservation of Khmer cultural believe. As a result, in order to ensure the long-term development of the Khmer people in the Mekong Delta, it is necessary to conserve and promote their traditional beliefs in their spiritual lives.
