Maxillofacial Trauma Detailed Discussion on Peri Operative Challenges in the Management of Facial Bone Fractures. Surgical and Anaesthetic Management of Facial Trauma

Brain and cervical spine injuries are associated with facial trauma and fractures of the facial bones. Major contributory causes include assault, gunshot wounds and motor vehicle accidents (MVA). In airway control, trauma units must be professional. These injuries are surgically difficult and current.  Specific anaesthesiologist challengers. Death may result from haemorrhage, aspiration or hypoxia, trauma itself. Neural imaging tests and neurological review must accompany initial screening of neurological injury.
