Systemic illness and oral cavity manifestations are related to one another. Numerous illnesses, including those that affect the heart, intestines, haematology, blood, diabetes, metabolic disorders, obesity, and the nervous system, might have an impact on the oral cavity. Oral lesions can also result from the treatment of several systemic diseases. These include chemotherapy for cancer and other drugs that impair salivary function.
