High-cycle-fatigue Properties of Tc17 Titanium Alloy
The fatigue behaviour of Ti-5Al-2Zr-4Mo-4Cr is significantly influenced by surface scratches. This paper contains the results of fatigue testing with three distinct surface roughnesses, as well as test data and fracture characteristics. The fracture characteristics are investigated in connection to the change in surface roughness, as well as the test data distribution. The research of Ti-5Al-2Zr-4Mo-4Cr fatigue behaviour with surface roughness is relevant in theoretical and engineering fatigue investigations.
