Estimators for the Product of Two Population Means Using Auxiliary Attribute in the Presence of Non-response
Non-response is an issue that typically arises from lack of interest, being away from home, refusing, etc. For population mean estimate in the situation of nonresponse, many authors produced estimators. When there is a non-response, estimate of the product of two population means is also necessary. Some estimators for the product of two population means employing an auxiliary characteristic in the presence of non-response have been proposed while keeping this feature in mind. Study is also done on the recommended estimators’ characteristics. The proposed estimators are compared to the pertinent estimators in a research. A numerical analysis is also provided to compare the effectiveness of the suggested estimators to the pertinent estimators using an actual data set. From an analysis of numbers, it has
