Between July 2003 and July 2004, 12 old patients of both sexes were studied at the Prince Rashid military hospital. An open reduction for a femur fracture neck was performed under spinal anaesthesia with only 1ml plane bupivacaine 0.5 percent in the L2-L3 intervertebral areas.
