A Note on Metric-affine Gravity
This article’s main goal is to provide an overview of metric-affine gravity, a gravity theory that has received a lot of interest from physicists in recent years. We examine and explain the results of a well-known equation for the Lie derivative of the metric in the context of a metric-affine approach. The most significant results of this theory are included in a historical examination of it. One arrives at a conclusion with some points of view on how that theory—which is known as topological gravity theory—calculates topological observables.
